A Lenticular Edition for a Blu-ray refers to a special packaging design that includes a lenticular lens layer on the cover, creating a 3D or animated effect when the packaging is viewed from different angles. This adds a unique and eye-catching visual element to the Blu-ray release, making it stand out from standard editions. The lenticular design can enhance the overall presentation and appeal of the Blu-ray for collectors and fans of the film or TV show. **

The 3D effect in a lenticular image is created by using a special printing technique that involves interlacing multiple images together and then printing them onto a lenticular lens. This lens has a series of ridges that act as tiny magnifying glasses, allowing each eye to see a different set of images. As the viewer moves, their perspective changes, causing the different images to be revealed, creating the illusion of depth and movement. This process tricks the brain into perceiving a 3D effect without the need for special glasses or equipment. **

An optometrist or ophthalmologist would be familiar with lenticular glasses, especially if you have pretty strong myopia and astigmatism. Lenticular lenses are designed to correct high levels of nearsightedness and astigmatism, so they would be able to assess your prescription and recommend the appropriate type of lenses for your specific needs. It's important to consult with a qualified eye care professional to ensure that you get the right type of glasses for your vision correction. **
